Debbie Kordall was tired of the guys her age who only wanted to party and change girlfriends every other week. She wanted someone older, wiser, and more sophisticated to love.

Mick Reed spotted her right away. The woman at the bar was confident, beautiful, and young… everything he wanted. She was the woman who would commit to him fully, and in return, he’d give her anything she wanted. Was he fooling himself to think that age didn’t matter?

hey i am really sorry that some one took your story and tried to make it look like it was thiers. but i really liked it! alot in fact! its really good!

    • Abby Wood says:

Thank you, Tonya. It is sad that there are people who stoop to this level of stealing. To find out that she has posted it at several places is aggravating, and I’m doing my best to see that she never does this to me, or any other author, again.

  2. Kaylyn says:

Wow I’m. Sorry that happened to you, I came across it and thought she was the author. I read your excerpt and saw how its exactly the same. Its a story though. (Your version) she could at least have credited it to you

    • Abby Wood says:

Thanks, Kaylyn. Nope, she stole the book word for word, and only changed the names of the characters to have it fit as fan fiction. Not only did she take money out of my pocket, she put the fan fiction sites (plural) she posted at in jeopardy.

      • Musicdaydreams says:

While what she did was wrong and completely unethical, she’ll probably have ended up actually putting money into your pocket, since I’m sure there will be multiple readers of “her” fanfic who liked it and will now buy it to see it through to completion.

        • Abby Wood says:

You’re probably right, Musicdaydreams. One thing about being an erotic author is I never push my book onto someone who doesn’t read erotic books. These kinds of books aren’t for everyone, and I respect that. I’ve read comments about those who read the chapters the woman put up and were disgusted by the “nasty” writing. That makes me angry, not because of them not liking my writing, but that someone posted it out in the open where they were subject to the material they would not normally read.

I was really enjoying what we now know to be your story. I can’t believe that someone would copy another authors work like that.

Just purchased the ebook from the kindle store.

  4. cmitch says:

I was really enjoying your story on twcs glad to know I can purchase the real thing from the author. So sorry you were ripped off. It is really sad when ppl feel they need to stoop so low…..

    • Abby Wood says:

Thank you, cmitch. 🙂 It is sad, but one good thing came out of it. I’ve had some wonderful people support me, and their kindness makes me believe that the good outweighs the bad.

  5. Lynn says:

Love this story. so sorry that it was stolen from you. I purchase it but dont have a kindle or anything like that….hope i got the right format for the PC. Cannot wait to finish reading it.

    • Abby Wood says:

      Hi Lynn and thank you!

If you’ve downloaded it in pdf or html form, you should be okay to read it on your computer. If you used a .prc file, you’d have to download the Kindle App for your computer first. (It’s free). If you downloaded .epub, I think you have to use an online converter to convert it to .rtf. I hope I covered all the different files. If not, let me know and I can find out the answer on how to fix it so you can read it. 🙂

  6. Taylor says:

Is there any way I can buy the book w/o it being an e book

    • Abby Wood says:

      Hi Taylor,

No, I’m sorry, the book is only available in ebook form. The pdf file and html file you can buy to download will make it possible to read on your computer though.

Thank you for asking. The only paperbook I have right now is a book called, Didja Know…?, a paranormal erotic book with a menage love story.

I went to amazon and bought your story I felt bad because I read it on the writers coffee shop it is a very good story and she or he is a jerk for stealing something that no doubt took a long time to write and put together i’m just glad you found out when you did

I was browsing through the fanfiction books on TWCS and came to the this story. I was curious to find out more information so I checked out your home page. I decided to buy your book Tagging her Lynx for 2 reasons. 1) I love life mate stories that are erotic 2) your response to Musicdaydreams comment. I liked your honesty. I never read the book on TWCS b/c I’m not a fan of non-paranormal stories.

I’m hoping to buy Too Right a wrong soon. Premise seems interesting.

    • Abby Wood says:

gotobed – Sorry, I didn’t see this yesterday. For some reason, your comment went to the spam folder. Thank you for checking out my books. It’s always interesting to hear how people hear about my books, and I’m glad you found some that interest you. I have two other books that are paranormal…To Play or Obey? (vamps and deals with bdsm), and Didja Know…? is a ghost-like story that deals with menage. Didja Know is also available as a print book.

I hope you enjoy Tagging Her Lynx!
