I thought the week between Christmas and New Years would be the perfect time to finish my shifter story. At least, I’d see the end in the distance if I worked hard. *sigh* With hubby home and the snow getting deeper outside, I’ve fallen off the writing wagon. I’m getting about 500 words wrote a day. Not nearly enough. I’m trying not to be too hard on myself. I do deserve time to play, right? I can’t be all about work.
So, what have I accomplished instead of writing? I cleaned our bedroom from top to bottom, painted a windchime, got caught up on laundry, cleaned the laundry room cabinets out, and read two books. That’s on top of the normal wife and mom duties. Oh, and I’ve played in the snow, rode the quad, and worked on organizing pictures into the photo albums.
What kind of things distract you from writing?

What distracts me from writing? HAHAHAHA. Everything. Snow, kids, books I want to read, Higher education (I really want a 4. average. HAHA), eating, walking, breathing…
Okay, so I’m easily distracted. But when I get on a roll… I’m one big snowballing scribble machine!
I like that description! Fits me this week. Although, I did get some writing done today once I gave up checking emails. lol
I think writing distracts me from writing
Other people’s writing. Like yours. My lack of another book is then, by the process of deduction, entirely your fault.
But you write such good books!
I’m sorry! lol You are so funny! Although, I do have this urge to send you Dove’s Chocolate…you know, to munch on while you read my books.
2010- The year we find extra time to write!
