I thought I’d let you all know exactly where Peckerwood, Washington is located. Of course, the town of Peckerwood is a fictional town that came from my imagination. A community made up of vampires that practice the BDSM lifestyle. I have placed the town in a certain area though. The Puget Sound area. For those of you not familiar with the Pacific Northwest, the Puget Sound area is located in NW Washington along the I-5 highway, where the Pacific Ocean comes inland up to 50 miles. It’s a huge area with many channels, inlets, bays, and islands scattered about. For those of you who have never visited, you might know the largest city located in the area…Seattle. Sleepless in Seattle was filmed there, and television show, Gray’s Anatomy, is set in Seattle.
In my town of Peckerwood, I have located it away from the fast pace of the city in a more small town utopia. The water is backed by thick forest, making it a perfect place for vampires to live.
There you have it! This beautiful area is what I imagine while writing this book. I’m sure you too will enjoy the unique setting of Peckerwood and seeing it through Master Dick and Gabriella’s eyes too.
