Yummy, rich, delicious goodness

Today was shopping day and I’ve been having a craving for the last week. I have wanted FAKE Heath Candy bars. The only problem was, I didn’t have graham crackers. If you’ve not heard of this recipe, you’ve been missing out. It is a hit to everyone who tries it. After I post the recipe, I’ll let you in on a little secret.

FAKE HEATH CANDY BARS

Layer a cookie sheet with Graham Crackers

On the stove, mix 1 cup of sugar & 1 cup of real butter. Boil for three minutes.

Pour mixture over Graham Crackers, spread with wooden spoon.

Bake in the oven at 250 degrees for 5 minutes.

Remove from oven and sprinkle 1 package of milk chocolate chips on top. Wait a minute. Now spread chocolate with spoon covering all crackers.

Let cool, cut into squares, and yum yum good! Tastes like a softer Heath Candy bar

***Now for a little secret

If you substitute the graham crackers with soda crackers, sprinkle with chopped almonds this exact recipe tastes like Almond Roca.

Go ahead, try it, I know you want to…and then come back and tell me how delicious they are. =)

  1. I did the recipe this afternoon. I cut it down to 1/4—cause I didn’t want to have a big pan of temptation in the house—and used white chocolate. Omigoodness. Yum!
