Halloween costumes
We are attending a Halloween party this weekend. Costumes are a must. I planned to go as a sexy witch, but the black wig I bought is shorter than my actual hair (which is very blonde) and even with my hair stuffed under the wig, it doesn’t look very witch-like to me. So, I have been trying to come up with another costume. It is not as easy as you think when you have a hubby who is not the dress-me-up-in-anything-you-want-dear kind of guy. We’ve gone the football/cheerleader, Batman/catwoman, and Nascar driver/flag girl route. So, you can see that hubby gets the comfy outfit that still shows he retains his dignity…I on the other hand have to deal with those few awkward moments when I walk into someone’s house and feel totally ridiculous in my outfit.
I finally came up with something and I don’t have to buy any clothes or props.

We are going as the bullrider and the rodeo princess. Yep, hubby gets to carry the whip, wear his regular clothes along with his chaps. I, on the other hand, get to freeze my tata’s off wearing a short jean skirt, form-fitting sleeveless blouse, and a can of spritzer sprayed in my hair. The only bright spot is I get to wear my favorite pair of red cowboy boots with the jewels up and down the sides and my cowgirl hat. Oh, and the rodeo princess sash (please don’t ask me why I own one).

So, there you have it…2009′s official Halloween Costumes. Happy Halloween everyone!

Dear Friends, HAPPY HALOWEN!!!
